Who we are
At Logos Learners, we believe true learning is rooted in focus, curiosity, and clarity. We aim to help students not only improve their grades, but also build the habits, confidence, and mindset needed for lifelong academic success.
We emphasize depth over speed and genuine understanding over robotic memorization. Our tutors help students master the material while learning to think logically, ask quality questions, and confidently approach challenging problems.
All Logos Learners tutors are either pursuing or have completed graduate-level degrees, and all have exemplary academic track records in their fields of expertise. This ensures that every student is matched with someone who truly understands the material.
Our Founder
Chloe Weyer-Nichols is a scientist, educator, and founder of Logos Learners. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Philosophy from the University of South Carolina Honors College. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, where she studies immune responses in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). She has authored peer-reviewed publications and brings a deep understanding of both scientific rigor and critical thinking to her work.
With over eight years of tutoring experience, Chloe has supported more than 400 students in subjects such as biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, algebra, physics, and Latin. Her background in philosophy enhances her teaching by helping students think logically, reason through problems, and develop independent learning habits. Her goal as a tutor is to equip students with skills that will benefit them far beyond their next exam.
Chloe founded Logos Learners as a reflection of her belief that quality education is simply the cultivation of reason (logos), as inspired by classical thinkers like Aristotle. The name represents a commitment to clarity, discipline, and intellectual growth. Thus, Chloe personally selects each tutor to uphold these values and deliver a tutoring experience grounded in both excellence and purpose.
